LINDENRobert Joe (R.J.) Suel, 76, of Linden, passed away Tuesday, January 6, 2009, in a Linden hospital. Services will be at 10:00 AM, Friday, January 9 , 2009, at Linden United Methodist Church with Bro. Mark McClanahan, Dr. Bryan Baggett and Glen Strickland officiating. Burial will be in Linden Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis-Schindler Funeral Home, Inc. Visitation will be from 6 to 8:00 P.M. on Thursday January 8, 2009, at the funeral home. Mr. Suel was born November 29, 1932 in Sulphur Bluff, Texas, to Joe Boyce and Rosa Watts Suel. He was a truck driver for C and H Transportation, a Mason, 32nd degree Scottish Rite, and a Shriner. Mr. Suel was a Korean War veteran having served in the U.S. Navy. Survivors include his wife, LaWanda Suel of Linden; two sons and daughters-in-law, Bobby and Kathy Suel of Livingston, and Michael and Anita Suel of Seagoville; a daughter, Pamela Dandridge of Linden; a brother, John Wayne Suel of Arp; a sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and Haskell McMillon of Linden; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Billy Joe Suel and a sister, Hazel Derr.

I am totally shocked to hear of the loss of a good friend R J! I dont know how to contact the family but to all who knew him we need to be strong and remember the great times we all have had together! RIP !!! RJ we miss you already!
