Funeral services for Rhonda Russell Eljoki, 52, of Longview, will be at 2 PM on Wednesday, March 31, 2010 at Reeder-Davis Chapel in Hughes Springs with Rev. Larry Neeley officiating. Interment will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home, Inc. Mrs. Eljoki was born on September 18, 1957 in Hughes Springs to Wayne and Daphne Russell and passed away on Sunday, March 28, 2010 at a Longview hospital. Mrs. Eljoki was a member of South Union Missionary Baptist Church and a registered nurse. Survivors include her husband Farag Eljoki of Longview; one son Russell Eljoki of Hughes Springs; her father Wayne Russell of Daingerfield; two brothers Jimmy Russell of Nacogdoches and Tim Russell of San Antonio; one sister Gina Bassham of Hughes Springs; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother Daphne Russell and one nephew Brian Russell. Mrs. Eljoki will lie in state on Tuesday, March 30th and the family will receive friends from 6-8 PM at the funeral home in Hughes Springs.

I went to school with her, we spent alot of time at each others home and were very good friends and i am very sorry to here of her passing.
