Ricky Lynn Bruce, Sr., was born on October 19, 1958. He was called home to be with the Lord on June 6, 2011. He was a member of Liberty United Methodist Church in Hughes Springs. He was a part of the 1977 graduating class of Hughes Springs. Ricky was employed at Lone Star Steel for over 30 years until he medically retired. He was a loving father and husband. He was a delightful person to be around and his presence would always bring excitement and laughter to family and friends. He enjoyed watching wrestling and other competitive sports. And lets not forget the love of his life his car Christine. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Malachi Bruce; sister Debra Wilson; brother, Bobby Bruce and stepfather, O.C. Richardson. He leaves to cherish his memories a loving and devoted wife of 33 years, Sheila Bruce of Hughes Springs; sons, Tyke (Jennifer) Bruce and Ricky (Jennifer) Bruce, Jr.; daughters, Montoya Craver; Teshina Morris and Aliyah Bruce; mother, Rosie Richardson; father and step-mother, Norman and Tannie Bruce; brother, Jerry (Marilyn) Bruce; sister, Rosie Neal; half-brother, Daryl (Angela) Bruce; half-sisters, Elaine Evans, Charlesetta Bruce and Debbie (Timothy) Juhkle; sister-in-law, Dorethea Bruce; grandchildren, Devin Morris, Ameron & Tyreece Bruce; a devoted friend, Alfonzo Lewis; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

  5. I was out of town when I learned of Ricky's passing. I've know Ricky a long time, along with most of the family. I am so sorry for your loss, prayers to all the family during this time.

  6. my daddy ricky bruce was a great dad he alway's loved to hear my voice when i talked to him sometimes and i loved to hear his voice and now i can't hear or see him again because the lord had taken him away from me so now i can't get to see him any more but i will see him again when it's my turn to go.so now i still miss him every day of my life.we miss u daddy and we will alway's love u til the end of time.
