Graveside services for Mr. Ronnell Storie, 78, of Linden, Texas, will be 3:00 p.m. Monday, January 12, 2026 at Shiloh Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Linden. There will be a time of visitation with family and friends from 1:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. Monday, January 11, 2026, at the funeral home.

Ronnell Homer Storie, 78, of Linden, passed away Friday, January 9, 2026, surrounded by his loved ones. He was born March 8, 1947, in Linden, Texas, to Rufus Homer Storie and Edna Delorine Storie.

Ronnell was retired but spent many years working for Brown & Root, Gilbert’s Lumber Company, and Watson Wood. He was a devoted husband, father, and uncle who found joy in the simple things in life. He loved his dog, Socks, spending time outdoors, working with computers, attending squirrel camp, and playing dominos. Ronnell enjoyed tinkering with cars and computers and was always working on one project or another. He was a longtime member of Shiloh Methodist Church.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 59 years, Linda Storie of Linden; his sons, Ronnell H. Storie of Linden and Danny Jones of Gilmer; his daughter, Terri D’Ann Storie; his sister-in-law, Norma Storie of Linden; and many other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, James Storie of Linden; and his sister, Iviline Dugan of New Jersey.
