Graveside services for Mrs. Rosario Owens, age 72, of Hughes Springs, Texas, will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 29, 2024, at Hughes Springs Cemetery, under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs. There will be a time of visitation with the family from 12:00 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Rosario was born on September 8, 1952, in San Antonio, Texas. She brought joy and warmth to all who knew her. Rosario found delight in simple pleasures, including playing Bingo, teasing children with her playful humor, and cheering on her favorite sports teams. An avid crafter, she had a talent for creating beauty with her hands, and she especially adored red roses, which reflected her vibrant and loving spirit.
Rosario’s kindness was unmatched; she never hesitated to help those in need and was a source of strength and comfort to many.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Benito and Doris Benavides; her brother, Gregory Campos; and her niece, Pricilla Campos.
Rosario leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion. She is survived by her beloved husband of 20 years, Charles Owens; her son, Frank Rendon; stepchildren, Marcus Owens and wife Danielle, and Crystal Coker; her brother, David Benavides; her nephew, Gregory Campos Jr.; and her cherished grandchildren: Destiny, Desiree, Frankie, Gabriel, Damion, and Ayla .
Rosario will be deeply missed by all whose lives she touched, but her memory will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends.
