LINDEN TX Ruthie Nell Vaughan, 74, of Linden, passed away on Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at her home in Linden. She was born November 11, 1938 in Coffeeville, Texas, to Dewitt Moreland and Marie Zetty Moreland. She was a home maker. Survivors include three sons and two daughters-in-law, Robert and Ava Vaughan of Burleson, Ronnie Vaughan of Linden and Arville Bubba and Anna Vaughan of New Boston; two daughters and sons-in-law, Alean and Victor Boyd of Avinger and Anna and Michael Chamblee of Atlanta; one sister, Nanci Moreland of Houston; a special friend, Kathy Honaker of Linden; 16 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Her parents preceded her in death. Funeral services will be at 10:00 am, Saturday, March 16, 2013 in the chapel of Reeder-Davis-Schindler Funeral Home in Linden with Rev. Lee Cross officiating. Interment will follow at 1:00 pm in Smyrna Cemetery, Harrison County, Texas. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm Friday at the funeral home.

Ms. Ruth was a very sweet lady that will be truly missed. She was a great neighbor and friend to my mother and we loved sitting outside and visiting with her. She loved my children and they loved her. We love you Ms. Roo 🙂 Love, Misti, Alexa, & Ayden
