Bro. Taylor baptized me and performed the ceremony for our wedding. We are thankful that God put our paths together over 45 yrs. ago.
So sorry for your loss.
Mr. Earl was my pastor for many years. Heaven is better today for his presence.
Rev. Taylor was a good friend of the Walker Dixon Family. Rev Taylor was able to be present at the home going of Alberta Walker Dixon and Leola Dixon. A solider who has gone home to be with the Lord. A Job well done on this earth. We extend our love at this hour of sadness. God is Love. Naudean Dixon Austin
I’ve know Bro. Earl since I was a boy. He and Mrs. Louise were a great blessing to my life and to my family. I can imagine that my dad has been looking forward to his "coming home" for they were great friends and are probably rejoicing and worshiping their Savior they served so faithfully together here on the earth. I’ll miss you Bro. Earl and will always cherish the day you and I spent together a few months ago, just sharing and talking about the Blessed Book and our Blessed Hope, the Lord Jesus Christ.
Janet and Jerry We sadly read of your father’s passing but celebrate his joyous reception in Heaven. May comfort and peace surround your family at this time and in the days ahead. Paul and Nan
A person that departs from this earth never truly leaves, for they are still alive in our hearts and minds, through us, they live on. Brother Taylor will be terribly missed. He will be cherished in our memories forever. Please accept our condolences, he will not be forgotten.
Mrs. Janet I’m sorry for your loss. Thank-you for allowing me to meet Mr. Samuel. He was a great joy and very special to me. I will not forget him or his prayers he shared with me on my visit with him. Thank-you, Beryle
I just heard that Earl had gone home! What a great legacy he leaves behind! He has inspired and instilled a love for God and a desire to preach the word in many of those who surrendered to the ministry under his ministry. I will forever be indebted to his love for our church, family, and the kingdom of God! May God bless and his legacy continues to live through the lives of those he touched. David and Lynette Tomme
He will be greatly missed.
I met Earl in Fort Worth at his sister Virgie Gildon’s house. I have visited with him several times and always enjoyed my time with him and Louise. They were a very special couple. I also was privileged to go to the National Quartet Convention with them on a tour bus. We enjoyed Earl’s sharing with us and another minister that was on the bus. We sang, shared testimonies and stories. It was a great time. My sympathy is with the family, I pray god will wrap his arms and comfort you during this time.
Janet, your mom and dad were so precious to me and so special. I loved working next door in the church office and your mom calling me and telling me to come over for some Mexican cornbread before I went home. Your dad didn’t care that much for it so Louise and I sat there, eating it and telling Earl how good it was and what he was missing. I also love hiding behind a door and scaring him when he can to the office, or Angela and Stevie hiding in the car and honking the horn when he walked by. (don’t know where they learned that from…) Earl and Louise left such a wonderful legacy. I shall never, never forget them, and look forward to the day when I shall see them again. God may even let us play some 42. Tell Jerry Taylor I love him too.
