Sandra Dee Foreman Cook of Linden, Texas, passed away peacefully on February 21, 2025, filled with the love and devotion of her family. She was born on December 1, 1959, in Linden, Texas, to Betty and David Foreman and spent her life rooted in the warmth and community of her hometown.
Sandy shared a remarkable love story with her devoted husband, William Keith Cook. Married for 48 years, theirs was a partnership built on love, faith, and resilience — weathering life’s trials and tribulations with grace and finding joy in the simplest of moments. They danced together in the kitchen, fished side by side, and spent many peaceful hours riding backroads. Sandy found happiness in the beauty of the flowers she nurtured in their yard, and Keith made sure they were always watered — a quiet, loving gesture that spoke volumes about their bond.
A wonderful and caring mother, Sandy’s home was always filled with love, laughter, and children — both her own and those she “adopted” into her heart. Her love extended far beyond her immediate family, and she made everyone feel welcome and cherished. Through years of health challenges, her daughter Jennifer provided unwavering care and support, a reflection of the love and strength Sandy instilled in her family.
Sandy’s faith was a guiding light in her life. She loved the Lord deeply and prayed often, drawing strength from the words, “The Lord is my refuge and my strength.” Her kindness, grace, and faithfulness touched the lives of so many, and her legacy of love and devotion will live on in those who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Betty and David Foreman; her brothers Harold, Glenn, and Carrol Foreman; her nephew Reece Foreman; and her brother-in-law, Buddy Williams.
Sandy is survived by her beloved husband, Keith Cook; her daughter, Jennifer Carroll and husband Andrew of Linden; her son, Jarrod Cook and wife Nicki of McLeod; her sister, Nancy Foreman Williams of Atlanta, Texas; her grandchildren, Tanner Cook, Clarissa Carroll, Kason Cook, and Kenadee Cook; five step-grandchildren; one great-grandchild; her aunt, Linda Smith Capps of Nash; and a host of extended family and dear friends.
Services to honor Sandy’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at Linden Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Linden. Family and friends are invited to a time of visitation from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider a donation in Sandy’s honor to the American Lung Association — a cause close to their hearts.
