Funeral services for Sandra Yvonne Gholston, 52, of Hughes Springs, will be at 2 PM on Saturday, May 16, 2009 at Shady Grove Baptist Church in Cason with Rev. Jesse Biles officiating. Burial will be at Shady Grove Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home, Inc. Ms. Gholston was born on November 25, 1956 in Pittsburg to Lawrence and Eddie Ree Gholston and died on Saturday, May 9, 2009 in Longview. Survivors include her husband Glenn Cheatham of Hughes Springs; parents L.J. and Eddie Ree Gholston of Cason; three sons Stevie (Jessica) Gholston of Coventry, CT, Gary (Melissa) Gholston and Jarrod (Bianca) Gholston both of Arlington, TX; one brother Dale Gholston of Dallas; one sister Kheryl (Joe) Doddy of Cason; grandmother Odessa Gholston of Ft. Worth; four grandchildren Daisah, Coralyn, Stevie and Dominick; a host of nieces and nephews, relatives and friends. Ms. Gholston will lie in state on Friday, May 15th afternoon and evening at the funeral home in Hughes Springs.
