Memorial services for Ms. Sarah McDaniel, 62, of Hughes Springs, Texas, will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, February 27, 2026, at Hughes Springs Missionary Baptist Church, with Bro. Chris Cates officiating, under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs.

Sarah Clark McDaniel was born on May 22, 1963, in Hughes Springs, Texas, to Charles and Norma McKinney Clark. She passed away on February 20, 2026, in Dallas, Texas.

Sarah dedicated her life to caring for others as a Registered Nurse in home health. Her compassion extended far beyond her profession, it was simply who she was. She had a natural gift for comforting those around her, always knowing how to offer reassurance, whether through a listening ear, a warm embrace, or one of her unforgettable back rubs.

A faithful member of Hughes Springs Missionary Baptist Church, Sarah was a Godly woman whose bright spirit reflected her deep faith. She was bubbly, joyful, and full of life. Her smile could light up any room, and her hugs were the very best. She was always there when someone needed her, steady, loving, and dependable.

Sarah found great joy in baking and cooking, especially when it meant making cakes for birthday parties and celebrating the people she loved. Her “babies” and her animals meant the world to her, and she had a special place in her heart for her beloved “Kitty Kitty.” She also enjoyed simple pleasures,  a stop at Dairy Queen and a Sprite Zero could make her day.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Norma McKinney Clark; husband, Bobby McDaniel; siblings: Karen Clark, Delwyn Clark, Misty Clark; niece, Charli Clark; mother and father-in-law, Sondra and Joel McDaniel.

Sarah is survived by her daughter, Ashley McDaniel; granddaughter, Andrea McDaniel; son-in-law, Michael Jerome White; two adopted grandchildren: Journee Lee Moore and Dawn Jocelyn Renae Moore; niece, Dustee Clark (Cody); nephew, Chaz Clark; great-niece, Abigail; great-nephews: Liam and Damon; aunt, Brooker McKinney; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
