  63. Kayla,I am having trouble trying to find the words to express to you how deeply saddened I am to hear about your husband. I haven t seen you in what feels like a million years, but the ONE thing that stands out in my mind when I think of you is the strength that you have. I saw your never-ending strength as you went through & recovered from your back surgery, which was about the same time I had mine, remember? Kayla, that strength that you had way back then, is the same strength that will get you through these difficult times. Although the way may be long & hard, God will be with you every step of the way & He will provide that same, enduring strength that He has bestowed upon you throughout your life. Kayla, I pray that you find comfort in these words, and in knowing that you are in my prayers. I will continue to pray for you, your daughter, and everyone who s hearts are burdened with grief. I pray that God touches each of you, guides you through these difficult days, and blesses each of you with His mercy. Sincerely,Alicia (Partain) Simpson

  64. My heart goes out to the entire Burns family. As a sister of a Trooper, any time we lose and officer my heart breaks, but it's especially broken now since my brother Jacob worked with Scott when Jacob first became a Trooper. My prayers are continuously with you as well as all Trooper families.
