Born on December 13, 1965, in Tyler, Texas, Shannon was the cherished daughter of Johnny and Barbara Lee Scarborough. She grew up with a love for her family and community, values she carried throughout her life. Shannon’s faith was a guiding light; she was an active member of Church on the Rock in Daingerfield, where she fostered many close friendships and devoted herself to serving others.
Known for her generous spirit and deep compassion, Shannon was a past volunteer with the Cason Fire Department, always willing to lend a hand to those in need. She was also a talented seamstress, finding joy in creating handcrafted pieces for her loved ones. She was preceded in death by her father, Johnny Scarborough, and her granddaughter, Scarlett Hunter.
