Shawn Christopher Wylie, born May 26, 1973, passed into Jesus’s loving arms on December 14, 2023.Β  Everyone that knew this man, loved him. He was a charismatic, loving man who never met a stranger. Shawn was a true family man. His family was his first priority. Shawn was living out his dream of raising his family on a farm.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Carol Wylie; and first wife, Hannah Wylie

Shawn leaves behind four beautiful children: Jacob, Noah, Jennifer, and Mathew; his best friend and wife, Marla Wylie, who will love and miss him until her last breath; his father, Dean Wylie and step-mother, Nita; his brother, Kevin Wylie; sister-in-law, Jennifer Davis and husband, Kelly; and countless cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.

Services for Mr. Wylie will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at Hughes Springs Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Bill Johnson officiating. Cremation services have been entrusted to Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs.
