Funeral services for Shirley J. Ivory, 59, of Naples, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, December 14 at Williams Chapel Baptist Church near Naples with the Rev. C.D. Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery, located near the church with Reeder-Davis Funeral Home, Inc. officiating. Visitation will be Saturday until 4 p.m. Sunday until noon at the funeral home. Mrs. Ivory died December 9 at a Linden hospital. She was born in Cass County May 11, 1949 to the late Claude Ivory James and Ora Mae McGary. Her husband Billy Darrell Ivory also preceded her in death. Mrs. Ivory was a member of Williams Chapel Baptist Church and graduated from Traylor High School in Hughes Springs. She is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law Billy and Denise Ivory of Longview, Greg and Ivette Ivory of Hughes Springs, and Graylon Ivory of Naples; one daughter Parenthia Ivory of Nash; five sisters and brothers-in-law Bernice and Bobby Chism of Hughes Springs, Lavern and Mike Byrd of Naples, and Patricia McGary of Naples, Virginia and Butch Avery,. and Melva and Ronny Smith all of Lubbock; five brothers Vincent McGary of Daingerfield; Burnis Johnson of Los Angeles California; and Kenneth James, Bernard Lewis and Patrick and Rhonda Lewis, all of Lubbock.
