Memorial services for Stephen Stricklin, 79, of Hughes Springs will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, November 30, 2010 at the Reeder-Davis Chapel in Hughes Springs, Tx. with Rev. Larry Neeley officiating . Mr. Stricklin was born August 7, 1931 in Washington, D.C. and passed away Saturday November 27 in a Longview hospital. He was a US Air Force veteran of the Korean War and was a retired truck driver. He is survived by his wife Florence Stricklin of Hughes Springs; two daughters and sons-in-law Gwen and Jim Knight of Hughes Springs and Brenda and Bill Ford of Dallas; foster daughter and son-in-law Laura and Jack Eades of Burleson, TX; eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren and one step grandchild. He was preceded in death by a son Shane Stricklin and a brother Roland Stricklin. Condolences can be made at www.reeder-davis.com.
