Stewart Lee Clark, age 46, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, December 31, 2010. Born on September 8, 1964, in Hughes Springs, Texas, he was the son of Bill and Nita Ryle Clark. He was a nurse and used his profession to comfort others with his strong Christian faith. He definitely had a servants heart which kept him busily taking care of everyone around him. His hunger for His Saviors Words had him regularly searching the scriptures for guidance and wisdom. He encouraged others in their faith by sending regular e-mails with Bible verses and short lessons to ponder. He was a member of a mens Life Group through his church. He is survived by his wife, Cindy of Grapevine; mother Nita Ryle Clark, Hughes Springs; son Kevin Lane and wife Carla of Ft. Hood, Texas; daughters Rylee and Samee of Mt.Pleasant; stepdaughters Jenny and fiance David, and Megan, all of Grapevine; and his precious grandchildren Aiden William, Haylie Renee, and Nathan Don, of Ft. Hood. He is also survived by his sisters and brothers Brandi Dalhoff and her husband Mark of Nacogdoches, Christy Martinez and her husband Tony of Frisco, Kevin Clark and his wife Susan of Pearland, Tx, as well as his grandmother Geneva Stewart Ryle of Hughes Springs, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other family and friends. Stewart was preceded in death by his father, George William Bill Clark, grandparents, Hiram Ryle, Delbert and Audrey Mae Clark Mr. Clark attended schools in Hughes Springs and Channelview, Texas. He graduated from Hughes Springs High School in 1983. He worked with his parents in family owned businesses, as a millwright following construction and at Lone Star Steel (USS) before finding his calling in nursing. At the time of his passing he was a member of 1:21 Community Church in Grapevine where he and his wife Cindy taught four-year old children in Sunday School. Services were held on Monday, January 3, in Grapevine, Texas, with interment in Hughes Springs Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Hughes Springs First United Methodist Church Scholarship Fund or to MDA (Muscular Dystrophy Association)
