LINDEN Funeral services for Thomas Royal Gonzales, Jr., 63, of Linden will be Wednesday, Febuary 27, 2008 at 10:00 A.M. at Center Grove Baptist Church in Linden with Bro. Melvin Sharry and Bro. Jim Duncan officiating. Burial will be in Center Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Mr. Gonzales was born August 15, 1944, in Dallas to Thomas Royal and Valita Mae Fisher Gonzales. Mr. Gonzales died Monday, February 25, 2008, in Linden. He was a truck driver and a member of Center Grove Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents and father-in-law, Roderick A. Shaw. Survivors include his wife, Millicent Gonzales of Linden, three sons and daughters-in-law, Thomas Royal and Chrystal Gonzales, III, and Michael Wayne and Peggy Gonzales all of Hughes Springs; Samuel Todd and Prissy Gonzales of Linden; two daughters and sons-in-law, Charlotte Renae and William Johnson and Charmin Jeniece and Shane Davidson all of Linden; his mother-in-law, Mary Elizabeth Shaw of Kittanning, PA; mother of his children and her husband, Janie and Jerry Brock of Linden; three sisters and their spouses, Patricia and Jim Duncan of Athens; Lois and Phillip Womack of Marble Falls; Polly Joy and Barry Hatton of Houston, MO; two brothers and spouses, Roderick and Faith Shaw, Jr. of Kittanning, PA; and John Thomas and Beth Shaw of Johnstown, PA. Grandchildren include Brittany Nicole, David Thomas, Thomas Royal, IV, Makia Dawn, Jacob Paul May, Charles David Keener, Quitman Keener, Chelsea Marie, Destiny Allene, Ronald Zachary, Samuel Carter, Lynnsey Ann Rhyne, Brianna Marie Rhyne, William Hunter, Brianna Lynn Vertrees, Cody Lane, and Justin Clay; one great-grandchild, Madisyn Marie Gonzales, and a host of other relatives and friends.
