  1. Candle 5Troy was one of the most kind and gentle men I’ve ever known. Before he and Patsy were married, he asked me once to accompany him to Nichol’s Dept Store to help pick out a dress for Patsy’s upcoming birthday. Troy loved her deeply then and that love continued all the days of his life. The only thing – he never seemed to age at all!

Troy, we see all of you in the morning!!!
    Judy and Butch

  2. Uncle Troy was always so kind to me.
He always had a joke, hug and smile every time we saw each other. I know you are happy now to be with Patsy.
Give Daddy (Travis), a big hug for me.
    I have always loved you.

  3. Candle 7Coach!! He coached me softball when I was a kid. He was the Best!! He was always smiling and was a great man. I had seen him about 2 years ago and we got to visit for about an hour. I will miss him and prayers for the family 🙏🏻💔💔💔

  4. Troy was a sincere and loyal friend who judged no one, and helped when asked. I remember him as an outgoing and happy man, who was fun to be around. I am privileged to have been his friend all these years and I rejoice that he is in the arms of Jesus and his family that have passed. Prayers for the family.

    • Candle 1Uncle Troy Burns was such an amazing man of God. He left behind over 100 close nieces and nephews. In our immediate family, numerous great and great great nieces and nephews biological nephews, Roger Lawrence, William Lawrence, 4 nieces, Judy Lawrence Hicks, Melba Lawrence, Peggy Lawrence Lorance and Patty Lawrence Casias and spouses. For many years as a child growing up I always wanted an uncle. In August 2019 Peggy and I married. Uncle Troy only had a few questions and wanted to make sure Peggy will be taken care of. Suddenly I realized God had given me two uncles. Uncle Troy and Uncle Clarence. They both have been a wonderful answer to my prayers. Uncle Troy was so kind and gentle. I am for grateful for his unconditional love and compassion. Uncle Troy had a desire to see all of his family in church and living for God. He loved his family passionately. He could sing like an angel. A few times I got to sing with him. I am so thankful for his immediate acceptance and Godly example. Uncle Troy was a living example of Godliness and grace. Everyone who knew him, loved him. One thing I learned from his legacy is that the Burns family sticks together and protects each other. A legacy his parents passed down through generations. I will forever miss him and will be looking forward to joining him in heaven someday.
