Vera Runnels LINDEN TX Funeral services for Vera Mae Runnels, 100, of Linden will be at 2:00PM, Saturday, March 3, 2012 in the chapel of Reeder-Davis-Schindler Funeral Home in Linden with Bro. Bryan Baggett officiating. Interment will be in Linden Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-DavisSchindler Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8pm Friday evening. Mrs. Runnels was born November 26, 1911 in Tyler to Walter and Sabina Barron Wooten. She passed away Thursday, March 1, 2012 in Atlanta. She was a home maker and a member of Pinecrest Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cruz Runnels; a son, Jack Runnels; a sister, Frances Gilley and a brother, Earnest Wooten. She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Judy and Curtis Maloney and Jill and Harold Wendling; six grandchildren and their spouses, Rhonda and Witt Allums; Leann Ross and John Fant; Curtis and Jennifer Maloney; Jack and Tammy Runnels II; Kim and Sandy Duncan; and Courtney and Bill Catalena; 12 great grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
