Verbina Andrews, 60, of Ore City passed away January 8, 2021 at Christus Good Shepherd Hospital in Longview, Texas.

Verbina was a member of New Hope Baptist Church. She attended Bramlette Duncan Elementary School and Ore City schools. She furthered her education at Gary's Job Corp in San Marcus, Texas. She also attended Northeast Community College where she received her CNA certification. 

Verbina was preceded in death by her parents, Nathaniel Anderson, Sr. and Lillian Josephine Jones; husband, James Earl Andrews; son, David Dewayne Jones; and sister, Lillian Becky Davis.

Verbina's memories will be cherished by her four children, Zachary Andrews of Oklahoma, Avery Andrews, David Andrews, and Xaiver Andrews all of Ore City, Texas; one grandchild, Tanna Jo Blythe of Ore City, Texas; six brothers, Gary Jones, Andy Morgan (Sonya) of Longview, texas, Keith Anderson of Arlington, Texas, Nathaniel Anderson, Jr. of Lancaster, Texas, Franklin Jones (Carla) of Ore City, Texas, David Hodge (Alice) of Marhsall, Texas; four sisters, Connie Jimmerson, Shiniqua Toliver (Patrick) of Longview, Texas, Felicia Latchinson of Gilmer, Texas, Deborah McCain (Elvin) of Ore City, Texas; step mother, Olivia Anderson of Longview, Texas. Special recognition to Napoleon Rogers of Ore City and Joe Marks of Lone Star. She also leaves her beloved nephews and nieces: 13 nephews, Dairl Montgomery, Keith Craine, Derek Anderson, Christopher King, Patrick Toliver, Andy Morgan, Jr., Jermie and Jamie Jones, Marcellius Morton, Chris Jones, Thomas Hart, Christian and Isaiah Finigan; 12 nieces, Nikiesha Jones, Natasha Montgomery, Shaquiela and Tashica Jimmerson, Skyla and Shaneice Anderson, LaNeisha King, Angelica Morgan, Tiara Davis, April and Camerson Jones, Christy Morgan; 11 great-nephews, Jeremiah Gilliam, Amurion Taylor, Dalan Montgomery, Jacques Pollard, Xavier and Jayden Morton, DaMarion, Da'Cavi and Nakorian Love, Calvin Jimmerson, Hayden Montgomery; eight great-nieces, Ar'Mani Jones, Sa'Mya Jimmerson, Amuari Taylor, Dejah and Dalah Montgomery, Ariyah Morton, Ahliyah Pollard, LaQavia Polley; one great great-niece, Serenity Gilliam; and one great great-nephew, Kayden Finigan. 

Services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 16, 2021 at New Hope Baptist Church.

  5. I just found out today about my best friend i ever had passing away. I loved this woman more than i could ever explain. And she loved me too. And i knew it.
