Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. We are saddened by Walter's passing, but are assured of his destination. God is with him and all who mourn for him.

  2. I have fond memories of Mr. Mayfield when he had the tiny store( with lots of great candy across from the original Elementary school. He and I would talk for hours about Match game'74 and Truth or Consequences. I had the unique pleasure of visiting with him early this year, and even though many details were vague, he remember some of the laughs that we shared. 1st street has lost a sweet soul whose "soles" were worn from so many miles of walking up and down our "main street" I will miss looking for him each morning, and will cherish the memories of him in better days.

  3. Our thoughts and prayers go out Mr. Mayfield's family. He was a nice man and will be missed.Linda, Stacie & Stevie

  4. I have very fond memories of Mr. Mayfield. He was my science teacher at McLeod School many years ago. He had a very kind spirit, we had fun in his classes and when he laughed he laughed all over. He was very smart you could ask him any word in the dictionary and he would give you a definition. I wish I could have visited with him before he passed.
