Whitnee Anjanette Wasson Treadway, 54, of Atlanta, Texas passed away Monday, November 20, 2023 at her home. She was born July 12, 1969 in Excelsior Springs, Missouri, a daughter of Phyllis Westmoreland and David Wasson.

She was the mother of Britnee Treadway of Texarkana and Brealee Treadway of Atlanta. For many years she owned and operated Cuts and More of Queen City.

Survivors include her daughter Britnee; parents, E.M. and Phyllis Westmoreland of Queen City and  Teresa Wasson; granddaughters, Brislynn, Bella, and Briella; brothers and sisters: Roger and Paula Westmorland, Derek and Kathy Wasson, Debbie and Bradley Dennis; Chantay and Don Crews, Danielle Wasson; nieces and nephews, Brent, Ryan, and Austin Wasson, Amanda Whatley, Michael Westmoreland, Tori Payne, Jeremy Westmoreland, Justin “Corky” Westmoreland,  Jason Dennis, Allen Dennis and Scott Dennis, Jennifer Ballard-Ellis, Tara Tims, Danny Joe, Jr. and Jeffrey Westmorland; loved ones, Steve Sweetin and Eva Ruhl; and numerous extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Brealee Treadway; father, David Wasson; grandparents, Clyde and Fay Dey; brother, Danny Joe Westmoreland; sister, Peggy Stark; nieces, Megan Payne and Kelly Stark; nephews, Roger Westmoreland, Jr. and Joseph Westmorland.

Funeral services for Ms. Treadway will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 24, 2023, at Reeder-Davis Chapel in Hughes Springs, with Bro. Randy Watkins officiating.  Burial will follow at Sardis Cemetery, under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs.  There will be a time of visitation from noon until service time Friday at the funeral home.
