Graveside services for Mr. William Patterson, 89, of Daingerfield, Texas, will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 10, 2026 at Patterson Family Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs. There will be a time of visitation for family and friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

William Henry “Bill” Patterson, 89, was born December 10, 1936 in Marion County, Texas, and peacefully passed away at his home in Morris County, Texas, on July 6, 2026.

Bill was the oldest of seven children born to Claude Milton Patterson and Francis (Leach) Patterson. In 1962 he met the love of his life, Faye McIntosh, through a mail-order bride catalog. They were married and shared 42 wonderful years together, raising four children before Faye’s passing in 2004.

In 2007, Bill was blessed with a second chance at love when he married Linda Clark. Together they built a life filled with love, companionship, and cherished memories over the next 19 years.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife Faye Patterson; his daughter Robin Jones; his brothers David and Donald Patterson; and his sisters Nona, Nancy and Patsy.

Bill will be remembered for his love of family, his enduring strength, and the many lives he touched throughout his 89 years. His legacy lives on through the generations of family who loved him deeply and will forever cherish his memory.
