LINDEN, TX Graveside services for William Clarence Jackson, 70, of Linden, will be at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, January 6, 2010 at the Jackson family cemetery in the Warren Springs community under the direction of Reeder-Davis-Schindler Funeral Home, Inc. A visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 1:00 P.M. before the service at the home of Randy and Susie Jackson in Linden. Mr. Jackson was born September 1, 1939 in Dexter, Iowa to Ora William and Lois Marie Hougham Jackson. He passed away January 4, 2010 at this residence in Linden. He was a heavy equipment operator. Survivors include two sons, William E. Jackson of Arlington, and Andrew Steven Jackson of Houston; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Johnny Jackson and Randy and Susie Jackson, all of Linden; nine sisters and seven brothers-in-law, Judy and Frank LaQua and Sandra and Loyd Turnbow, all of Linden, Linda and Glen Folyer of Goodells, Michigan, Rosalee and Jeff Allison of Gary, Susanne and Kent Waddill of Lone Star, Cathy Campbell of Texarkana, Angela Roark of Atlanta, Cheryl and Robert Surratt of DeBerry, and Melanie and Ronnie Evans of Lufkin; and three grand daughters, plus a host of other friends and family. He was preceded in death by a son, Tommy T. Jackson and his parents.

  3. I doubt that any of the Jackson sisters will remember me, but I was saddened to learn that my classmate William (Stonewall) Jackson has died. I spoke to him at our 50th year class reunion in October. Though he didn't seem to be in the best of health, he certainly did not seem near death.Some of the Jackson family may remember that my father, Cecil Wood, took a special interest in you folks, and thus I came to know some of you as well. I especially remember Judy and Sandra. I hope you will all find the sustaining presence of God's grace in this sad time. Ralph Wood
