William Jeter IV

William Jeter, IV, was born to Hellon and William Jeter III on August 19, 1971. He attended elementary and middle school in Jefferson, Texas. The family moved to Dallas where he graduated from Sunset High School in 1990. He accepted Christ at age 17 at Bible Deliverance Church of God in Christ until 7 years ago and he became practicing Muslim.
He met and married Mildred Yvonne Pollard of Dallas, Texas and was a father to three children and a grandfather to one grandson.
He is preceded in death by his father, William Jeter, III; grandfather, William B. Jeter; grandmothers, Lottie M. Brown and Mattie N. Myles; great-grandmothers, Georgia Mae Howard, Annie Taylor; aunt, Kay Francis Brown; uncles, Johnny Jeter, Ronnie Jeter and Michael Myles.
He is survived by his loving wife, Mildred Yvonne Jeter; sons, Demetri Myles Jeter, Fredrick Harris; daughter, Jessica Galarza (George), and grandson, Jakob Ford; mother, Hellon Jeter; sister, Sherry Delois Spencer (Thomas); grandfather, Leroy Brown; uncle, Ricky J. Jeter; aunt, Norma Jean Honeysuckle; David Chris Brown (Thaila), Katherine Goldston (Jimmy), Gale Menefee (G), Janice Brown (J.C.), Brenda Poe (Walter); in-laws, Mordell and Joyce Robinson, Raymond and Elder Pollard; nephew, Paul D. Potts; niece, Shadai Turner; cousins, Larissa Freeman, Angela Irving, Timothy Brown (Me Me), Tyronne, Yulonda, Rufus Carr, Tyrome Carr, and many cousins and friends.
Services will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, April 3, 2021 in the chapel of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home. Burial to follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park Cemetery and under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs.
The family has asked those attending the funeral to please wear mask.
