Funeral services for Willie Glen Moakie Davis, 57, of Cason will be at 11 a.m. Friday, April 9, 2010 at Shady Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Eddie Burns Sr. officiating. Burial will follow at Shady Grove Cemetery in Cason under direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home, Inc. of Hughes Springs. Visitation will be Wednesday afternoon until 4 p.m. and Friday one hour before service time at the church. Mr. Davis died April 3, 2010 at his residence. He was born August 30, 1952 in Morris County. He worked for 39 years for Lone Star Steel Company. He is survived by his mother Ruby Davis of Columbus, Ohio; three daughters and two sons-in-law Chiquita and Ken Hawkins of Pittsburg, Joyce Norman of Mount Vernon and Kokesha and Erik Burns of Jefferson; four sisters Linda Johnson of Longview, Ethel Jewel Fomby, Elaine Moody and Patricia Edwards, all of Columbus Ohio and six grandchildren Jasmine Wilson, Bradford Lewis, Raven Norman, Kenya Bates, Nevaeh Burns and Erik Burns Jr. He was preceded in death by his father George Davis.
