Funeral services for Willie Joe Foster, Sr., 68, of Shreveport, LA will be Saturday, December 11, 2010 at Hughes Chapel Baptist Church in Hughes Springs with Dr. Maurice McMillion officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Bluff Cemetery in Naples under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home, Inc. Mr. Foster was born on July 2, 1942 in Hughes Springs to Charles Arthur and Quillie Bell Thomas Foster and passed away on Friday, December 3, 2010 at a Bossier City, LA hospital. Mr. Foster was a life long member of Hughes Chapel Church. He worked for Delta Airlines System for 32 years. Survivors include his loving wife of 33 years Sandra Foster of Shreveport; on son Willie Joe Foster, Jr. of Shreveport; three daughters Veleria and Regina Foster both of Dallas and Laquashia (Angel) Foster of Nacogdoches; three brothers Bob Washington and Rufus Royal of Dallas and E.L. Royal of Hughes Springs; four grandchildren; one great grandchild; a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Mr. Foster will lie in state on Friday, December 10th at the funeral home in Hughes Springs.
