Funeral services for Willie Stigers, 84, of Omaha will be 3:00 P.M., Saturday, October 8 at Union Chapel Baptist Church in Omaha with Pastor Jerell Walker officiating. Burial will follow at Bell Haven Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home, Inc. of Hughes Springs. Mrs. Stigers will lie in state from 11:00 A.M. until 4:00 P.M. at the funeral home on Friday, October 7 and the family will receive visitors at the church beginning at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, October 8. Willie Ester Stigers was born March 26, 1927 and passed away October 4, 2011, in DeSoto, Texas. She is survived by four daughters and a son-in-law Margaret Caldwell, Dorothy and Michael Greenwood, Velma Harrison and Francis Stigers; two sons and a daughter-in-law Travis Stigers and Danny and Shondra Stigers ; eight grandchildren Monica Chalmers, Theresa Hicks, Kevin Harrison, Andrea Thomas, Heather Greenwood, Tyron Stigers, Dana Stigers, and Chaztin Stigers; two sisters Vermal Riley and Donell Austin of Phoenix, Arizona; one brother Elvis Lacy; 11 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Samuel Travis S.T. Stigers; son Bobby Wayne Stigers; sister Vesta Loyd; and brother Sammie D. Lacy.
