Terri Qualls Johns passed away on May 26, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. Born on October 25, 1955, to Archie Lee and Mary Evelyn Qualls, Terri lived a life marked by deep faith, love for her family, and service to her community.  She was baptized at Avinger First Baptist Church and remained a devoted and active member throughout her life. Terri loved the Lord deeply, and her faith was the foundation of her strength, kindness, and generosity.

Terri treasured time spent with her family, especially when her home was filled with laughter and the aroma of a home-cooked meal. Her heart swelled with pride in her sons, Jason and Travis, and the men they became. She lived for her grandchildren, always present at their ballgames, often traveling across the state just to cheer them on.

Terri was a beautiful lady, both inside and out. She loved life. She shared a lifelong love of dancing with her beloved husband, Ralph, and together they won numerous dance contests over the years. Their travels together created cherished memories

Terri dedicated over 30 years of service to the United States Postal Service in Avinger, where her warmth and dedication touched many. Her family remembers her simply and powerfully: “Most of all, she just loved us.”

She was preceded in death by her parents, Archie Lee and Mary Evelyn Qualls; her sister, Lois Gail Hatcher; and her brothers, Darrell Ray Qualls and Tony Lee Qualls.

Terri is survived by her devoted husband, Ralph Johns; her sons, Jason Johns, and Travis Johns and his wife Melissa; her sister and brother-in-law, Connie and David Amox, and their son Colt Amox and his wife Hailee; her treasured grandchildren, Cameron Lee Johns (Isabella), Jaylen Reese Johns and wife Anna, Corey Nolan Johns, Skylar Lynn Johns, and Ira Grace Johns; her great-grandchildren, Bowen Lee Johns and Evelynn Renee Johns; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
