Kevin Patrick Strange, age 62, was born in Mt. Pleasant, Texas, and lived a life of service, dedication, and love. As an Air Force veteran, Kevin served his country with distinction before building a successful career as the owner and operator of a security business. His work, which focused on installing security equipment in homes and businesses, was a source of great pride. Kevin found immense satisfaction in helping others feel safe, and his tireless work ethic was a testament to his commitment.

Kevin’s life was filled with activity, whether through his work or his passion for gardening. He was a devoted grandfather who loved playing with his grandchildren, and he treasured the moments spent vacationing with friends. Known for his kind heart, Kevin was always ready to lend an ear or offer advice to those in need, serving as a trusted counselor to many. His deep faith and love for the Word guided his life, and he was fervently committed to ensuring that his loved ones were spiritually prepared.

Kevin was preceded in death by his parents, J.C. and Virginia Strange, and his grandson, Layton Strange.

He is survived by his loving wife, Tonja Strange; his daughter, Tayla Friday (Clint); son, Kyle Strange (Shannon); and his cherished grandchildren, Kolten Strange, Carter Strange, Adaleigh Friday, and Noah Friday. He also leaves behind his brother, Jimmy Strange (Kathy); his sister, Julia Keck (Charles); sisters-in-law, Pam Tripp (Tim), and Sue Pruett; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Kevin’s legacy is one of hard work, love, and unwavering faith. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Private burial services for Mr. Strange will be held under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs.
