Funeral services for Louie Darwin Fisher, 81, of Daingerfield, will be 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at Church of Christ in Daingerfield with David Ingram and Norman Miller officiating. Burial will follow at Hughes Springs Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home, Inc. Visitation will be November 15 from 6to 8 P.M. at the Reeder-Davis Chapel in Hughes Springs. Mr. Fisher was born September 22, 1930 and died November 13, 2011 at his residence. Mr. Fisher worked in management at Lone Star Steel for many years before retiring in 1984. He also was a member of the Daingerfield Church of Christ and belonged to the American Legion in Hughes Springs. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years Joyce Fisher; one son Robert and his wife Dorothy Fisher of Yantis, Texas; three daughters: Vickie and her husband Keith Williamson of Ponca City, Oklahoma, Glenda Tolleson of Memphis, Tennessee, Brenda and her husband Jim Driggers of Pittsburg, Texas;15 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren; one sister Billie Standley of Baytown, Texas; many nieces, nephews and cousins. Mr. Fisher was preceded in death by his parents Louie and Inez Fisher; two brothers Dr. Larry Fisher and Gary Fisher.

  4. Joyce~ I was just across the street in Lone Star, TX ~ I often remember you and Darwin as a young couple with babies. And your red/white car with the push buttons to drive.
