    • Candle 5I was glad to know you as my friend and co-worker. You did a marvelous job with Richard and Stephanie and were on your way to be such a positive influence with the next generation. You were honest as the day is long and provided all of us that knew you an example to follow.

  4. Steve,
I’m going to miss you. I was just thinking about you and remembering the times we had at the police department. I remember many great conversations that ended with us laughing on the night shifts, you giving me advice as a junior officer, and us having that midnight cup of coffee at dispatch before going back on patrol. Those are memories that I will always remember and cherish, so thank you for giving me those memories.

May you rest in peace, I have a place in my heart for ya.

  5. Candle 6I cared as a nurse to Mr. King during his stay at The Cottages in League City, TX. Greatfull to know a great human being. Thank you Mr. King for giving me a chance to serve you. Your pet dog “Bo” is in safe hands with my family will take good care of him. May your Soul Rest In Peace. My heartfelt condolences to your family for this Bereavement and mourning

  6. Candle 5I am so sorry to hear of your passing Sarge. I am glad that I got the opportunity to meet you and to work with you at the Lakeview Police Department. You will be missed and my heart goes out to you and your family. But I am glad to know that you are in a much better place and getting the much needed rest you deserve.

  7. Sgt King was an amazing and kind man. He loved Jesus, and would always talk to me the people he would talk to and ask, “Do you know my Jesus?” He wanted to share Jesus with everyone.
He was a great sergeant and I learned so much from him, he made me a better officer. He truly had a heart for the community. He always cracked me up when someone asked him if he wanted a donut. He always responded, “I don’t eat donuts, but I love kolaches.”
As sad as his passing makes me, I am at peace knowing I will see him again in heaven one day. To the family you are in my prayers. God bless, Gary & Tammi Konvicka
