Mr. Stafford was born December 30, 1921 in La Mesa to Ishmal Martin Stafford and Trudie Rebecca Painter Stafford and passed away Sunday, June 6 in a Longview hospital. He was a Farmer / Rancher and a member of the Sheriffs Association of Texas. He is survived by three daughters and two sons-in-law LaDell Blasingame of Nashville, TN, Yolanda Beth and Leonard Shipley of Irving and Elvira and Frank Kessler of Linden; three brothers Wendell Stafford, Clifford Stafford and Gene Stafford all of Lamesa; five grandchildren Toni Blasingame, Brit Blasingame, Yvette Mitchell, Kristi Hurley and Daniel Kessler; and six great grandchildren Charlotte Blasingame, Garrett Davis, Zachary Davis, Kayln Mitchell, Ayla Hurley and Aidan Hurley. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Lazell Stafford; and a son-in-law Charles Blasingame.

  4. Elvira, I'm so sorry for the loss of your dad. My thoughts and prayers are with your entire family. I had not seen him in years, but never forgot he or your mom. They both were special to me.

  5. Although I did not know Mr. Stafford well, he was a customer where I worked for many years and he will most certainly be missed. My condolences to his family and may God bless you.
