Zettie Mae Earvin

Zettie Mae Earvin was born December 29, 1916 to the family of Allen Earvin and Elvira Martin Earvin; to this family eight children were born. Zettie Mae was the oldest child. Two sisters and two brothers preceded her in death. She attended school in the Shady Grove and Jefferson Central School system. She lived at home with her mother and father all of her life; attending to them until their death. She helped rear her nephews and a niece, Travis Earvin, Phyllis Edney, Cedric Filmore, Sammie Earvin and Reuben Roberson until he was eight years old. She leaves to mourn three sisters Bessie Roberson of Jefferson, Hettie Brown of Dallas and Ann Smith of Jefferson; her nephew Jeurald R. Robertson, who was the care giver of his Aunt Zettie Mae until her death; and other relatives and friends.
